Ingredients:
250g paneer, cut into cubes
2 tbsp butter
1 cup tomato puree
1/2 cup cashew nuts (soaked in warm water for 15 minutes)
1 onion, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 cup cream
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
In a blender, blend the soaked cashew nuts into a smooth paste.
In a pan, heat butter and sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until the raw smell disappears.
Add tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook until the oil starts to separate from the masala.
Add the cashew paste and cook for a few more minutes.
Add paneer cubes and stir gently to coat them with the masala.
Pour in the cream and sprinkle garam masala. Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
Serve Paneer Butter Masala with naan, roti, or rice for a delicious and satisfying meal.
